Please join us for our PTO meeting on Monday, May 11 at 5:00 pm. We will be voting on officers for the 26-27 school year.
President: Oversees the PTO, facilitates meetings, plan/organize events, communicates with members and principals, delegates tasks, organize volunteers, and help where needed.
Vice President: Facilitates meetings if President is unavailable, plan/organize events, communicates with members and principals, makes flyers to be given out or posted, and help where needed.
Secretary: Take minutes during the meetings, type minutes and email to officers and principals, take roll at meetings, organize volunteers, maintain volunteer records, help with organizing events, communicates with members and principals, and help where needed.
Treasurer: Manages finances, ensures accurate bookkeeping, deposit money, communicates with members, and principals, helps with organizing events, and helps where needed.
We will also need volunteers to help with Trunk-or-Treat, Veterans Day, Christmas Program, Festivals, Fun Day, American Education Week, and Teacher Appreciation Week.
If you would like to be considered for an officer, please email uespto@myyahoo.com by Sunday, May 10th @ 10:00 pm. If you would just like to volunteer by helping with any of the other events, please also feel free to attend the meeting on May 11th.

Tonight is rising 6th grade orientation for the Middle School.
No school tomorrow, May 5 for Election Day!
Tomorrow is Track Day for 3rd–5th grade! Families are welcome to join us at Gentry Stadium. Events start at 9:00 AM, and all awards will be given at the end. Students should wear their UES shirt they were given on Friday. A concession stand will be open for snack purchases. Remember families are not allowed on the field. We can't wait to cheer on our students!
Monday, May 4 is Track Day for 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade students!
Teacher Appreciation Week is May 4-8. Please help us shower our teachers & staff with love all week long. Each day has a fun, simple way for students to show appreciation to their teachers.

It's testing time at UES! 3rd-5th grade students will begin TCAP testing tomorrow, April 20.
Join us tomorrow at the Unicoi County High School for the Northeast Tennessee Day of Play. We will have the Aspire Book Bus there from 10:00-1:00.
