NO weapons allowed & masks can only be worn during the parade. Families are welcome—even if you don’t have a trunk to decorate! Come enjoy costumes and community fun! Over the weekend, a situation occurred in which a student unknowingly logged into a phishing website using their unicoischools.com credentials. As a result, the phishing website used those credentials to send a potentially malicious email to all employees and students with a unicoischools.com address. As a rule, student accounts are protected from receiving email from unapproved outside sources, however, the entity behind the phishing website was logged in with the student’s compromised account.
The fraudulent email is titled: Work-Study Opportunity – Personal Assistant Position Available to all employees and students. In the email, a link is provided to apply for a paid work study. When the link is clicked, a Google Form appears.
If any employee, student, or parent visited this site and supplied the requested information (Name, Personal Email Address, Home Address, Phone Number, Gender, Age, Bank Name, and Credit Card Information), you should contact your bank and/or credit issuers to alert them of potential fraud. Unicoi County Schools has contacted the Unicoi County Sheriff's Department who will be working with TBI/FBI to investigate and prosecute those behind this phishing event.

Baton Club Update:
Dear Families,
We are excited to begin Baton Club soon! Please note that our start date has been postponed by one week. Baton Club will now begin on Monday, October 14. Students will be dismissed at 4:00 PM at the back door of the new gym.
Due to an overwhelming amount of interest, we had more students sign up than we have available spots. We will be taking the first 30 students who registered for this session. The remaining students will be placed on a waiting list, and if a spot becomes available during the year, we will reach out to offer them the opportunity to join.
Thank you for your understanding and support—we are looking forward to a great year of Baton Club!
Sincerely,
-Ms. Julia
