Tomorrow is the last day to purchase your Thanksgiving Meal ticket for $5. Our meal is at UCHS on Wednesday, November 19th.

Remember that this Friday is the last day to purchase Thanksgiving meal tickets if you would like to eat with your child at our an annual Thanksgiving meal on Wednesday, November 19.

It's going to be a spooky good time on Friday at Rock Creek Elementary! 👻🎃 Students are invited to wear their Halloween costumes. Please remember: No weapons. Masks may be worn during Trunk-or-Treat only. Don't forget your candy bucket or bag!

Over the weekend, a situation occurred in which a student unknowingly logged into a phishing website using their unicoischools.com credentials. As a result, the phishing website used those credentials to send a potentially malicious email to all employees and students with a unicoischools.com address. As a rule, student accounts are protected from receiving email from unapproved outside sources, however, the entity behind the phishing website was logged in with the student’s compromised account.
The fraudulent email is titled: Work-Study Opportunity – Personal Assistant Position Available to all employees and students. In the email, a link is provided to apply for a paid work study. When the link is clicked, a Google Form appears.

If any employee, student, or parent visited this site and supplied the requested information (Name, Personal Email Address, Home Address, Phone Number, Gender, Age, Bank Name, and Credit Card Information), you should contact your bank and/or credit issuers to alert them of potential fraud. Unicoi County Schools has contacted the Unicoi County Sheriff's Department who will be working with TBI/FBI to investigate and prosecute those behind this phishing event.

Tomorrow is the last day for book fair shopping at RCES. Thank you for supporting our school & students as they purchased some really great books this week!

It's time to start thinking about our annual family Thanksgiving Meal at UCHS! Info will come home on Monday with students. All meal tickets must be ordered no later than Friday, November 7th.

Don't forget to set up your child's ewallet for easy shopping at this week's book fair!

REMEMBER: RCES tshirt order are due tomorrow- Friday, October 17th. Money must be turned in with tshirt order form.
