UNICOI COUNTY FOOTBALL LEAGUE
Parents,
It is an exciting time for Unicoi County Football. We are entering the fourth year of our flag football league backed by the National Football League’s Flag Football Program. Every 3rd – 5th grade male student has the opportunity to play in an official NFL jersey with classmates from all across the county.
Students will have tryouts on July 24, begin practice July 27, and play their first game on August 10. Teams will play at least 5 games and have a playoff leading up to the Blue Devil Bowl to be played on September 28. All games will be played at Gentry Stadium and the entire season will be completed by the beginning of Fall Break.
This league is a top priority for our football program as a whole. We believe that for our high school team to be successful, we must begin cultivating well rounded football players at the elementary age. This league, which is fully backed by both Unicoi County Schools and the National Football League, plans to be the first step in a very successful football career for these young athletes.
Tryouts: July 24th at 11:00 AM at Gentry Stadium
Cost: $50 (includes Reversible Jersey and Flags).
