'Tuning In To Teens' Parenting Program Now Accepting Reservations

Would you like guidance on how to help your teen cope with big emotions and reduce conflict? Tuning into Teens is a free parent education program to support teen emotional intelligence and parent-teen communication.

Participation involves attending six 90-minute sessions, led weekly by a group leader over Zoom. Sessions will be audio-recorded to evaluate how to adapt the program to community needs.

Caregivers will be asked to complete a brief survey at the beginning and end of the program, as well as 6 months after the group ends.

Recordings and surveys will be reviewed by researchers only.

Group Leader: Dr. Rachel Miller-Slough, Assistant Professor of Psychology & Director of the Developmental Psychopathology Lab, East Tennessee State University
