Read to Be Ready Camp was designed to peak student's natural curiosity by exploring meaningful topics, providing rich learning experiences and projects, and taking field trips to explore and relate concepts back to great books students were reading, writing about, and discussing at camp. Motivation, working on skills in fun and real life ways, and developed confidence were all important outcomes! Campers found out there are great books to explore! Camp also encouraged to students to define themselves as capable readers, thinkers, and writers!
