TICKET SALES: On this Friday (May 4, 2012) Club Shred is hosting the RYDER FIELD DAY on our track field. Every student can attend for $2.00. We will be putting an envelope and collection log in the teacher’s mail boxes today for the 3rd period teachers. Bracelets will be placed in an envelope in your mail box 1st thing Friday morning to be distributed to the students who have paid their 2.00. Please give the bracelets out at the beginning of 3rd period. The bracelet is the students proof of payment. Bracelets will not be replaced if lost. Bracelets will only be sold by teachers or can be purchased by Ms Shealy Friday morning 7:30-9:00. Bracelets are not refundable.

The Unicoi County High School Drama Department is proud to present the Theatre Arts I class production of “The Outsiders”. This play is an adaptation of the S. E Hinton classic young adult novel about the ever battling “Greasers” and “Socs”. The play features beloved characters such as Ponyboy, the sensitive Greaser who didn’t want to be a hood and Johnny, the hero of the story. Dallas, Sodapop, Darry, and the “Socs” all make an appearance as young men caught up in the battle between the elite, wealthy kids and the tough, underprivileged, yet determined greasers.The public is welcome to attend the night performance on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 7:00pm in the UCHS Auditorium. Tickets are $3.00 for all seats. Tickets will be available at the door thirty minutes before each show.

The Unicoi County High School Drama Department is proud to present “And Then They Came for Me: Remembering the World of Anne Frank”. This is a multi-media show that tells about three Jewish teenagers: Anne Frank, Ed Silverberg, and Eva Geiringer-Schloss
during the Holocaust in Nazi Germany. Ed was Anne Frank’s first crush and
she wrote about him in her famous diary. Eva Schloss was the same age as Anne
Frank and lived in the same building as the Frank family in Amsterdam. This is a thought provoking production that uses powerful visual images from WWII to add a sense of gritty historical realism to the performance. Show dates are Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 7:00pm,
Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 2:00pm, and Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 7:00pm. Due to the serious content of the play, it is recommended that audience members be at least twelve years old. Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students. Tickets will be available at the door thirty minutes before each show.
